Drag queens and kings shimmied, sang and accepted $1 bills over the lunch hour Friday in the Ballroom of the Kansas Union. It was the 26th annual Brown Bag Drag, hosted by Miss Daisy Bücket.
The event is designed to give KU students, faculty, staff and whoever happens to show up a taste of what drag is really about.
Something special about this year was that students performed alongside the professionals from Kansas City, including Spectrum KU Vice President Caithe Alexander, who helped coordinate the event.
