Well, KJHK has you covered! Every Monday from 4-7 pm in the Hawks Nest of the Kansas Union, we host Music Monday: a free, music-centered event for you and your friends to enjoy.
And this month’s events are extra special! November’s Music Mondays include a Zine making workshop, Open Mic & Karaoke nights, and a Drag Show that you won’t want to miss. More information about each event is below!
- Yesterday, Monday, Nov. 4th from 4:00-7:00pm — KJHK and the Emily Taylor Center taught community members about zine history and construction while listening to tunes from DJ Lavender Prescription!
- NEXT WEEK: Monday, Nov. 11th from 4:00-7:00pm — KJHK is hosting 5 local drag queens for a spectacular show! See performances from Lambyyy Boots, Jeni Tonic, Vantas, Marie Queerie and Ms. Eda Bull!
- Monday, Nov. 18th from 4:00-7:00pm — Come show off your talents or enjoy others’ talents at KJHK’s Open Mic Night! Get your bands together and come perform!
- Monday, Nov. 25th from 4:00-7:00pm — Don’t you just love to sing with your friends? Well then come join KJHK’s Karaoke night, filled with fun tunes!
