KJHK is approaching its 50th year on-air! To celebrate, we’re hosting a four-day event from October 15-18. This event will highlight the long history of involvement KJHK has had within the Lawrence community, showcasing the local art, music, people, and organizations that make Lawrence the vibrant city it is today.

Featuring station tours, vintage KJHK art, and a two-day music festival, we hope to celebrate all that we’ve accomplished in our time as a station and the community that makes it all possible. We’re planning this event with a focus on community engagement, environmental sustainability, and accessibility.
