In this episode of “We’ve Got Issues,” I explore the concept of free will and how it relates to our modern justice system. I explain how many of our actions, one’s that we consider to be entirely free, are actually out of our control. Then, I look into the following question: If our actions do lack a significant amount of freedom, how would this force us to rethink our modern justice system?
I am joined in this episode by Erin Frykholm, Professor of Philosophy at the University of Kansas.
