Austin-based folk quartet, Large Brush Collection, is made up of Nora Predley (songwriter/bassist), Gabriela Torres (flutist), Dan Magorrian (guitarist), and Rishi Bajekal (drummer). Currently touring with their debut album, Off Center, LBC recently made an appearance at Cap Gun Studios in Kansas City this past Sunday, February 18th. The delicately warm listening experience of Off Center is made intricately expansive with the addition of Gabriela Torres’s transcendent flute, contemplative lyricism, and strings who prance around Bajekal’s steady gallop. This dream-like dance within Large Brush Collection’s Off Center invites me to a place of childlike wonder and fairytale rooted deep within my memory.

Curated by lead singer and bassist, Nora Predley, Large Brush Collection was kind enough to create a mixtape specifically for KJHK. Thank you LBC!
