KJHK is far more than music on the airwaves. Join KJHK for a summer day camp where you will learn how to record and mix audio, set up a live band for recording, budget a large-scale event, and even pick your very own DJ name. KJHK staff are excited to teach the next generation of goofy, creative radio nerds how to keep the Sound Alternative running strong! We’re inviting any high school students ages 14-18 to join us on Thursday, August 7 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at KJHK Studios on the third floor of the Kansas Memorial Union. No experience necessary!
Registration opens Monday, June 16, and will close on Friday, July 25. Along with registration, the attached paperwork is required for all attendees. Please have it signed and emailed to Bobbi Washechek at generalmanager@kjhk.org before July 28. Only accepting high school students ages 14-18.
