Folk-Punk that will make you laugh and think
Just Nick and Paper Ceilings are both prime examples of why Folk Punk is such an exciting genre to listen to. Mixing humor and earnestness has always been a calling card of Folk Punk and these two artists have that in stride. Just Nick takes a more political slant in his writing and that is shown on songs like “A Skeptic’s Love Song” which is pretty funny in its own right. On the opposite, you have the self-deprecating humor of Paper Ceilings who has mastered the art of writing a catchy folk song while still maintaining his wit. If you like artists like Frank Turner, you should definitely check this one out.
