Dark, brooding and psychedelic. The Black Angels are back again.
The Black Angels new album ‘Indigo Meadow’ continues to carry the classic sound The Black Angels have had since their first album, ‘Passover.’ In this album, The Black Angels give off the same dark, brooding, psychedelic sound that has persisted throughout their entire discography. If you enjoyed any of their past albums, chances are highly likely you will like this one. ‘You’re Mine’ is the most creepy love song I have ever heard but the vocals are so peaceful and rhythmic enough for me to deeply love the creepy vibe. ‘Don’t Play With Guns’ is hard enough to warrant an aggressive prance around the room, and the lyrics are so catchy that you will begin to worry why you keep listening to certain lines in your head.
