On Thursday, Oct. 10 Student Union Activities (SUA) and KJHK 90.7 FM will present Haim in concert at the Granada. Crafting an ear-catching blend of classic rock hooks, pop-driven rhythms and R&B-styled vocals, the sisters of Haim have had a busy 2013. Building buzz on the merit of some stellar festival sets and an endlessly likeable EP, Haim has toured with the likes of Rihanna and Mumford & Sons. Haim’s much anticipated debut full-length album, “Days Are Gone,” comes out Sept. 30. Listen to the the band here. IO Echo will open the show. The band’s style combines rock music compositions with instruments such as a Japanese koto harp and Chinese violins.
