Thoughtful rock album has this reviewer addicted.
PLAY this album. I can’t stop listening. Despite being skeptical of the description and the cover, these girls rock like whoa. Joan Jett signed them…and it wasn’t for nothing. Their sound is somehow smooth while still being punk. The album is dedicated to the bass player’s mother, which makes total sense when listening to the great final track ‘Mother’s Lullaby’. This is a thankful band. Obviously the tracks are ordered with purpose. All are worth playing. Nina Diaz’s vocals are consuming in the best way – grabbing you, and not letting go. What a great name? Nina Diaz.
