Sobriquet stopped by Plow the Fields for an in-studio, good times were had.

This past Tuesday, February 7th, Lawrence-based alternative rock band, Sobriquet, stopped by KJHK for an in-studio performance and interview to promote their upcoming show at the Jackpot this Saturday, February 18th, with Oils (LK) and Ford the River (OKC).

After the in-studio session we talked about their new EP, Hello Fragmented Sky(which was recorded in their basement studio), Patrick’s unfinished underwater puzzle, mythical creatures, and musical influences (Wilco and about 50 others!). I had fun, I hope they did too.

In Short: Sobriquet are four awesome dudes who deserve your support! Stop by the Jackpot this Saturday night and show them some love; it’s gonna be a ball. If you can’t make this Saturday’s show, check out their SoundCloud!
