Catchy alterna-punk.
At first Dan Webb’s voice was a bit off-putting for me. It’s not polished, yet not raw and grimy, either. It seems like there’s some kind of added effect to it, also. But I’m no musician or a producer so I really don’t know what I’m talking about here. Vocals aside, the songs are so catchy you don’t even notice and after awhile it totally starts to fit. It’s mid-tempo alt punk, with plenty other influences seeping in to keep it interesting (like some Americana on track 6, for example). In a lot of ways it reminded me of something you would find in the No Idea records catalogue. Bottom line: it’s catchy. Spin it!
