Unique and abstract Hip Hop grooves
Mumps, etc. is easily the oddest version of rap that I have listened to in a while. The combination of classical instruments mixed with hip-hop beats makes for a sound unlike any other. The album is good for the most part. It is an odd concept for an album, but it works fairly well. Along with the weirdness going on, some of the chorus sections of the album are downright odd in comparison to the rest of the song, but there are some good rap sections. Try this album out if you’re looking to hear something different.
