Enter KJHK’s Stuck @ Home Contest !

It took a pandemic to cancel KJHK’s much anticipated Farmer’s Ball competition, but we know nothing can stop the music in this town. KJHK will be launching our first ever Stuck @ Home video contest in collaboration with LAAND (Lawrence All-Ages Noise Destination). Wherever you are, whether you’re a solo singer-songwriter, a band that meets over Zoom, or a group of friends quarantined together — enter this simple contest before May 10, 2020 for the chance to be booked for the first Live @ KJHK performance of a new, post-apocalyptic era.

The rules are simple:

  1. Record a video of your group (or just yourself) performing one original song.
  2. Make sure to mention that it’s for KJHK’s Stuck @ Home contest in the video.
  3. Upload it to YouTube, making sure it’s publicly visible.
  4. Then complete and submit this form before 11:59 p.m. CST on May 10th, 2020.

We will be featuring the videos we like every week on our website and on social media (be sure to include social handles in the form so we can tag you). At the end of the submissions period, we’ll pick one group to perform the very first Live @ KJHK when we return to campus. Not only will you get the chance to perform live on 90.7 FM, your professionally recorded set will be posted on our YouTube channel of over 2.3K subscribers. We can’t wait to hear your tunes!
