KJHK has a kickin’ awards season

Despite the countless hardships dealt by the pandemic, it’s been a successful year of KJHK content and broadcasting, which led to a grand total of 16 local and national awards.

1st Place: Jungle House Giveaway: Cami Koons, Erin Bugee 

KJHK collaborated with Jungle House to create a “What Jungle House plant are you?” quiz on kjhk.org. Our audience was encouraged to comment their results on social media and three winners were selected and presented with gift cards to Jungle House. The quiz saw 560 total clicks on KJHK.org, 257 total engagements on Instagram and 60 total engagements on Twitter.

Did you know Alchemy Coffee has a KJHK Breakfast for Beatlovers combo? The Alchemy and KJHK collaboration is the epitome of local business.

Markus, our Technology Director, keeps kjhk.org up-to-date and looking fresh. KJHK was also the first radio station to stream 24/7 from its website, so we’re happy to still have a notable website.
