KJHK is open year-round for new members, and we would love for you to join us this spring! Our volunteer staffs are open to all students, and are led each week by some of our wonderful Executive Staff members. Keep reading for our weekly schedule and to learn more about each of our staffs.
Creative Staff

Creative Staff makes designs for KJHK promotional materials like stickers and posters, as well as plenty of arts and crafts along the way!
Content Staff

Content Staff creates video, audio, and web content to promote KJHK across our many platforms. From web articles to podcasts, there’s something here for everyone!
Sports Staff
Mondays @ 6:00
Sports Staff covers all things Kansas Athletics, broadcasting live sports games on-air and creating content for our website and social media.
Technology Team
Wednesdays @ 4:00
Our brand-new Technology Team will learn about all the gear that makes student-run radio possible and implement new technologies and web/app developments to enhance the KJHK experience.
Street Team
Thursdays @ 3:00
Our Street Team is the core of our community engagement and outreach. This team represents KJHK across Lawrence to encourage involvement and promote upcoming events.
Music Staff
Thursdays @ 5:00
Our Music Staff meets with our two Music Directors to help define the sounds of our beloved Sound Alternative. Expect to nerd out on your favorite music and maybe even find some new favorites!
