How did you come up with your band name?
Ben: I used to have this list of fake band names, and me and one of my friends would send band names to each other. It was actually one of my friends’ band names, and I was like, “that’s really good, can I use that?”
How would you describe your music?
Ben: I listen to a lot of indie rock, so I would say indie rock, power pop, hopefully energetic.
Biggest musical inspirations?
Huck: Rihanna.
Ben: I listen to a lot of Ben Folds. I love Elliot Smith, Built to Spill, Jon Brion, and Jason Faulkner.
Daul: Ben Wendell.
John: Anybody named Ben.
Where do you see your band in five years?
John: Depends on if people move, so hopefully still existing, but I don’t know.
Ben: Hopefully, we’re going to record an album, and then after that, I don’t really know.
Huck: Playing at the Replay Lounge.
Daul: We played Lucia a couple times, don’t undersell us.
John: And Liberty Hall on March 27th. Let’s go.
If you win Farmer’s Ball, how will you celebrate?
Ben: We’ll use the money to record an album.
Daul: We’ll have a lot more fun with it, that’s for sure.
John: Probably go to Disney World.
Ben: Come on, man.
Daul: Blackjack.
Huck: Play golf.
Daul: On television.
