Local band brings the power
This local band does power-indie-alt-pop without making me cringe, which is fairly impressive. Perhaps it’s because the vocals aren’t “dreamy,” or whatever. Perhaps it’s because they aren’t overproduced and styled to be “alternative,” and they’re actually cool. This album’s pretty damn good and you should play it. It feels authentic, personal, and intriguing without being gross. Take a listen for yourself, and then play it for all to hear.
