The new group will premiere on KC Jazz Connection on Tuesday.
This Tuesday, Oct. 4, at 10 p.m., KC Jazz Connection brings you the world premiere of KC’s own Sir Threadius Mongus.
KJHK has the exclusive new tracks and got an interview. Named for its diverse influences (Ellington, Mingus, Monk, Threadgill, etc.), leader/composer/guitarist Jeff Davis and Sir Threadius Mongus mix it up again with their new EP, Threads.
