Play this album, and play it loud. These tracks are huge, very well controlled chaos that rewards listeners with an immersive and powerful experience. It is noise pop on one level, melodic wonderment on another, and the whole while it revolves around hard-hitting pulse-clap beats. It’s a lovely yet intense effect fleshed out in a dreamy fashion with mantra-style echoing vocals, bass throbs, high-gain guitars, and drum machines. Sometimes they go surfy, other times dark and hazy, at many times explorative, often contemplative while declarative. SPIN SPIN SPIN!
