Buzzband vocalist Megan James of Purity Ring provides a vocal edit of “Breathe This Air”, a track from long time atmospheric electronic musician Jon Hopkins off his darker, housey LP Immunity. It’s a natural pairing. James’ lyrical style retains it’s soft-around-the-edgyness, a nice contrast to the slow-building barely-growl of Hopkins focused electronics. The track has a nice unwinding to it. Give it a spin.
