This week at KJHK we’re welcoming a favorite artist of the station back onto our chart: Beach House. The groups beautiful 5th LP, Depression Cherry, took our number one spot its first week on the charts. Our number 2 spot goes to Du Blonde, with Welcome Back To Milk, a feminist anthem of an album that has danced around the top 10 for almost 2 months. Number 3 goes to Bully’s Feels Like, another album that has been in our top spots since it’s release late this summer. Pale Honey’s self titled album is in the number 4 spot, and at the tail end of our top 5 is Tame Impala’s shattering yet smooth as butter Currents.
There’s an impressive handful of albums new to the charts this week: La Luz with Weirdo Shrine, Delta Saints with Bones, Destroyer with Poison Season, Potty Mouth with the Potty Mouth EP, Vinyl Williams with Into, and Titus Andronicus with The Most Lamentable Tragedy.
