The Jayhawks will be looking to defeat the Baylor Bears tomorrow in Waco.

As of late, Baylor has been quietly improving, now on a two-game win streak. The good news for the ‘Hawks is that they are a still a heavy favorite, in large part due their coaching advantage. In the Bill Self era, the Jayhawks are 22-3 against Scott Drew’s Baylor team.

One thing that should be noted is the fact that Baylor has played much better at home this year. In the Ferrell Center, Baylor is 10-3 on the season.

This game is certainly a must win for KU due to the tough upcoming schedule which still includes at Texas Tech, and Oklahoma and West Virginia in Allen Fieldhouse.

Getting a win tomorrow could start a much-needed momentum boost. KU is coming off of a bounce back game against TCU. If they can beat Baylor for the second time this year it would complete the season sweep. Last time KU played Baylor, the ‘Hawks were able to win but by only three points (70-67). The story of that game was the emergence of Malik Newman who finished with game-high 24 points.
