KJHK’s new advice column, Ask Honey & Vinegar, will respond to a variety of serious (or goofy) questions about life, love, and the pursuit of happiness. With a yin & yang approach, two of our most contradicting personalities at the station will give you two different perspectives while answering your questions.

Meet Honey:
Hello humans! I am Honey. I enjoy sunlight on trees, warm chocolate chip cookies (I’m eating one as I write this), and hugs. I am here to give you advice to better your life and relationships with others. With kindness and gentle nudges, we can all support people so they can make the right decisions. Please feel free to ask whatever you’d like; perhaps a bit of my insight will guide you to more light and joy in your life!

Meet Vinegar:
I’m Vinegar. I’ve been told by many, many people that I need to think of others when I speak and be more empathetic. Although, maybe we should stop being so soft and whiny… Somehow we’ve gotten to a point where I have to sugarcoat everything I say and make sure everybody is catered to? I’m not trying to be a dick, but I’m not going to hold your damn hand. I’m here to help solve your problems, not caress your hair and sing you to sleep. So what if I’m abrasive, my methods gets results and leads to many I-Told-You-So moments…and I really love those moments.
