KJHK’s 50th birthday is approaching fast! To celebrate, we’re hosting a four-day event from October 15 to 18, featuring station tours, a silent auction, vintage KJHK art, a large-scale concert by Mei Semones, and a two-day music festival. We hope to celebrate all that we’ve accomplished in our time as a station and the community that made it possible.

Our two-day music festival features over 30 local musicians across nine venues in Lawrence, and each venue’s lineup is based on one of our special programs. There will be something for everyone during this celebration; it’s an event you won’t want to miss! Unsure of where to go? Below is our complete lineup, along with the programs it’s based on and some information on each musician.
