New British Indie group charms listeners
Cough Cough EP is the U.S. debut for British Indie group Everything Everything. This comes out before their new full length album Arc. This is a strong group of songs that showcases the strengths of this band, and is a fitting debut in the States. “Cough Cough” the title song is a good introduction to the album with the Cats Hero Remix of the same song as a fitting ending for the album. I find the remix to be a little better than the original, but that’s just me. “Kemosabe” displays a solid midpoint that holds the album together. I can listen to this album all the way through over and over again without tiring of it. It being a collection of singles or at least single ready song from Arc as well as their first album Man Alive proves the quality of the songs.
