Food insecurity affects the Lawrence population, and the COVID-19 pandemic has made this issue worse.
The organization Lawrence Freedgin Kansas created a community food pantry to combat this issue.
We had the opportunity to interview two of the creators behind the pantry: Sayan Grover (they/he) and Ximena Ibarra Quintana (she/they).
