A different electric sound
Cat Power has been around for awhile and has gained quite a following with her unique brand of indie folk music. On her latest album, she goes in a slightly different direction taking on a more electronic approach to her songs. Many of her long time fans might be off put by the new change in direction but the number of good songs that are found throughout the album should quiet the detractors. Especially with songs like “Nothin’ But Time” which also features the always welcome Iggy Pop. Check this out if you’re someone who’s into electronic music with a slight melancholic edge.
