No. 11 Kansas kicked off conference play on Sunday at Kansas State after finishing up their nonconference slate.
The Jayhawks were forced to 5 sets by the Wildcats, but were able to prevail in an epic finish.
Kansas is now 12-2 (1-0) on the year and will resume conference play on Wednesday at 6:30 vs. No. 18 Iowa State. They will also host TCU on Saturday at noon.
